[Hallicrafters] Restringing Dial

I am about to embark on the restringing of a S-38EM receiver.  I have never
done this before, but from what I see in the manual, it seems to be fairly
straight forward.  My question:  It is safe to assume that the restringing
diagram as lettered A-G is the route the new string should go?  In other
words, start at "A" and continue to "G" with all the intermediate stops "B"
- "F".
