Hi Eddie,
I tried to comment on your website gallery, but I was too long-winded,
and it got trashed because there's a 300 character limit on comments.
Then when I put in a short one the URL I ref. to was not displayed.
Replies on the reflector are OK.
Anyhow, that's a real long-term, expensive project in terms of time
and $. Take a look at: <http://www.thecompendium.net/radio/HT-33hb.htm>
for an alternative. I'd suggest that if the power supply iron and the
final tube are OK you might reconstruct it in 2 separate units as was done
on mine. Use the RF deck as a starting point, it's fairly usable by the
look underneath. YOu willstill have to use new components in many
instances.
If your allen key fits the grub screw without slipping, and it won't
turn, it doesn't matter if it's a bristol or not. I don't remember which
they are, but can go look to see what's in mine if you'd like.
