[Hallicrafters] SX101

I have a SX101 that needs a complete alignment. I have replaced all the
paper caps and replaced tubes as necessary. Receives well on the lower
bands but sensitivity decreases rapidly as frequency goes up. Hence the need
for alignment. I have a SIG-103/URM-25F signal generator which will go down
to the 50.5 kc IF that is needed. I have reviewed the manual for the proper
procedure which seems rather straight forward. However, I have never
aligned a receiver, much less one as complex as the 101. If those of you
who have done a 101 can give me any hints, kinks or cautions I would
appreciate hearing from you. This is a very nice radio and I want to do the
best job possible. Also, have a nice working HT32A to go with it. It will
be a next recap job. Thanks in advance.
