The mailings from behind the Iron Curtain were non-political in nature.
I received  nice Christmas cards from Radio Moscow for several years......

but when Radio Peking started to mail Mao's "little red book" to SWL'ers it
got interesting......
My friends and I received a questioner from the Post Office asking if we
wanted to receive this material....
