[Hallicrafters] 20 Meter Net Tonight

This is an unfair and totally false accusation by K2WH. First, he has an antenna
that is in New Jersey and directs his signal north/south. The rest of the USA is
west of there.	

Second, he could have used forty meters, where he stood a better chance due to
propagation. He chose not to.	

Third I tried three antennas to hear him in NJ, he said my beam was worse than
the vertical, so I switched back. I called him half a dozen times, no response.	

There was nobody else there at this time.	

When other stations in FL and CA joined in, I had three of them call him on
three different occasions. None of us heard him.	

I have worked my butt off and to have somebody like K2WH make such ridiculous
claims in  public is totally disgusting. It is not our fault that he has his
antennas positioned to favor Maine and Florida. he is certainly smart enough to
know that propagation off the ends of a wire antenna stinks! But he decides to
blame others for his own poor antenna system and lousy propagation.	

Every single person who checked in tonight is a first class person and excellent
operator, and I do not mind posting the log either. Any one of them who heard
any station would acknowledge them! But we cannot acknowledge those that we can
not hear either.	

What you have done tonight Bill disgraces yourself, not the people who were
participating in the roundtable, the Nets are on the weekends. I have an audio
recording of this Net/Roundtable, as I always do, and I would be glad to let
anyone hear it.	

I had a lot of respect for you, and praised your efforts publicly, but no more.

I would like to ask, why are the nets almost always monopolized by only 2-3
stations?  I checked in with Duane at 7:00pm and that was the last time I
was acknowledged that I even existed!  Seems most of the conversation was
about 2 meter AM.  Sorry, but I will no longer check in because it is a
waste of my time.
