While reading about the SX-28A I came across a special SX-28A that was made
for tropical use. Anyone ever hear this before. You can identify if you have
one or not by looking at the following. All wafer switches are wax
impregnated. T-3, T-5 and T-6 are dipped in "hallowax"
T-4 is dipped in "zophar". T-7 is potted in a high melting compound, type
6K64. T-8 is dipped in "korite" #4.
Interesting stuff you come across once in awhile. The SX-28A I am restoring
just happens to be the "TROPICAL" version.
