[Hallicrafters] tech question please!

The ARRL publications have run several articles in the last few years 
about switching power supplies. One -- in the May 2002 QST, I think -- 
was on the topic of converting a computer power supply for shack use (is 
that right, Mr. Hallas?).  Other articles appeared in the Dec '98 and 
Jan '99 issues of QST and the Sept '02 and Jan '03 issues of QEX.  This 
is according to the ARRL site's handy-dandy article index search engine.
