If anyone is going to try this, I have two suggestions

1) A) Illuminate the camera front and arrange things so the image of the 
camera lens is centered in the view finder.  This sets glass being copied 
parallel to the film plane (this assumes a fixed lens mount, not a view 
camera or similar).

B) Tape strings from corner to opposite corner of the dial to find the center.

2) (View camera and darkroom workers alert!)  Buy from me my (second) 
Princeton Copy Camera.  This is a professional thing, 5 feet tall, 7 feet 
long, meant for copying of flat originals on sheet film. Pickup in or near 
Washington DC. This is a station waggon full when dis-assembled.  Price 
*very* reasonable.
