[Hallicrafters] BC-614 Article

Rich,

Mentioning that place is not the issue; but posting an ad here for your
item selling there is, posting a link to it is and posting links to other
ads is as well. This list is not a free advertising place for items being
sold elsewhere! It is for subscribers to sell their personal items here.

If they want to sell elsewhere, fine. Just advertise it there, 'not' here.

Frankly, it annoys me greatly that 98.5% of the QTH.NET lists subscribers
do not donate a single cent to help owner Alan Waller, K3TKJ pay the bills,
but they sure get loud demanding free ads!

Maybe it should not bother me Rich, but I watch dozens and dozens of
otherwise good hams sell on these lists, ask questions and get free tech
help etc. week after week. Yet I know they never contribute a thing to help
keep the lists operating. I contribute sixty ours per week to my various
Ham related volunteer tasks and still send Al one or two checks per year.
Which is damn hard when one is on a fixed SSDI income, but I appreciate
these lists and i do NOT want to see them go away.

At the risk of getting on Duane's "naughty" list I will tell you of
something I stumbled across on the unmentionable ePlace. There is a
May, 1949 issue of "Shortwave" magazine there with an article about the
BC-614 speech amp. Search on 5837398031 if interested.

Usual disclaimers.
