Well boys, having been severely slapped, concerning our wild-eyed schemes
for any attempts on the Hallicrafters "h's", or obtination of any building,
I hereby retract my wild-eyed idea. I guess we should get back to radios...

To Pete (KH6GRT): My friend (W6TJU) has one of the bugs that was at Ft.
Shafter on that infamous day. I'll tell him to get it warmed up. I grew up
with stories of WW-II from my 3 Sailor uncles, and later on I was one, as
well. In early 1962, our ship, USS VEGA (AF-59)... callsign NQSJ, came into
Pearl with me, a young seaman apprentice, we manned the rail, coming close
aboard the ARIZONA (BB-63). There was not a dry eye on deck.

All hands in Radio I, and Radio II were quiet, and so were the frequencies.

WAØEAJ
