[Hallicrafters] Help Identifying Unknown Part

Ed,
There's supposed to be a rectifier between the transformer and positive
filter capacitor. The original was probably selenium. Just use a standard
general purpose 1N4007 silicon diode there (1 amp/1000 volt), anode to the
transformer and cathode to the filter cap positive. The original only had a
30 mA rating so a 1 amp diode is plenty. I couldn't figure out where your
pictures were from the address you gave.
