Back in the early 70's, I worked on Pro Video stuff for the old
Burstein-Applebee Co. in KC.  Mostly, I worked on Panasonic and such.  The
early manuals (all Japanese produced) for their 1/2 inch reel-to-reel VTR
(NV-3020), referred to the RF modulator and multi-vibrator circuits under
the heading RF MODURATOR and MURTI-VIBLATOR... no kidding.
