[Hallicrafters] HA-10

Thanks for the many replies about the HA-10.  I grew up as a Tech+ and
my first introduction to Hallicrafters was with an SX-17 receiver and
outboard Ameco VHF "Converter" which had Nuvistor tubes.  That was a true
converter.  I do not understand why Chuck Dachis's book calls it a converter
when in fact it is actually a plug in front end with no active components.

Since I had experience with real converters, that's what was confusing me
because in Chuck's book, it always mentions or states the tube lineup of
which there was none for the HA-10.  So, I had to ask the question.
