[Hallicrafters] Hallicrafters HA-1A?

Scott,

I'm just wondering what the "cosmetic differences" mentioned on the
la5ki site are between the HA-1 and HA-1A? The picture of the 1A does
not display to me at this time.

I have a HA-1 which has the black fluted knobs as used on my SX-115 and
HT-32B.  I thought somone just added the black knobs at some time in the
past but later came across a magazine ad picture which matches it.  Most
HA-1's seem to come with the grey thinner fluted knobs as used on the
HT-37 and SX-111 (and many others).

I like the HA-1.  It's fun keeping the neon bulb flashing correctly in
step with the sent CW, although after spending much time using the W9TO
designed keyer I must go through a brief retraining period to
re-acclimate myself with my usual iambic keyers.
