This is great news!  I'd likely use my HT-32B more often if I were not
so nervous about the iron.

I believe there were at least two versions of the power transformer used
in the HT-32 series.  The difference is where the bias tap point is
placed on the HV secondary winding.  Hopefully Phil's design can
incorporate an extra lead to accomodate both versions in a retrofit.
