[Hallicrafters] SX-28 s meter problem

In the sx 28 and sx28 a the meter is across a 100 ohm  resistor.  In the 
28 it is a 1/.3 watt and the 28a is a 1/2 watt. The meter zero pot is a 
500 ohm type 25 in both cases. Nothing is said about the wattage.  If 
the meter and the meter zero pot was 100 ohms, I am sure it is more. 
than 1/2 watt would be enough. I Would think. The meter movement and the 
500 ohm pot are most likely to always be more than or equal to 100 ohms, 
unless the meter movement is less than 100 ohms on its own. I would 
think a 2 watt pot would be fine. You might have to try it and see but I 
would be surprised if it did not work.
