[Hallicrafters] HT-37 problem

Up until today, my HT-37 worked perfectly (isn't it always). Now, all of a
sudden, I get very little output in SSB mode ~ 10 watts peak in normal voice
with mic gain set at 6. Mic gain control all the way up and whistling, got
me ~ 75 watts. Used to be 120 watts with mic gain set at 6. Tried (3)
different mic's, same problem. Mic's work in DSB mode.

I get full power output in CW ~ 120 watts and ~ 50 watts in DSB so it does
not seem to be an RF problem. I have yet to pull the 37 from service and
check the tubes. Anyone have any ideas on this so I can mull over my
options or start work with some direction? My first thing will be to check
the tubes in the audio chain.
