     After stating on the net Sunday that this pair would probably transcieve 
on the WARC bands. I decided to see if I was full of it.
      It does receive fine with good sensitivity. However it will not 
transmit. I think this is due to the different crystal osc. circuits. The extra 
crystal osc has very low voltage output and not enough to drive the transmitter. My 
crystal could be have low activity as it would only work in the first two 
positions. The last two have an inductor and a loading resister. However it 
checked OK on my crystal tester. 
      The crystal could be substituted for one of the present crystals and 
work normally.
