[Hallicrafters] SX-100 Dial cable and Meter Cover

Hello everyone,

The SX-100's normally utilize a thin steel dial cable for the Bandspread 
Dial..---I am woking on one,where the cable is badly freyed and ''hanging on 
its last thread'' (still working, but ???).----Is there replacement 
available (hey,you fishermen !!) or do I have to resort to the regular dial 
cord ???---With the SX-100 being notoriously un-stable,I hesitate to 
compromise on that replacement.

Also,I am looking for a meter cover,or just the little Logo''thingy'' that 
covers the null adjustment of the meter.Does anyone,have a ''junker'' to 
retrieve one of them???
