I have a transformer, quite large, about 100 lbs.
Hallicrafters part number 52C046.
Made by Standard Transformer Co.
Primary has three posts. First two posts are 0-2500 volts, first and third
post is 0-2000 volts. Input voltage is 117 vac. I know the 2500 volt and the
2000 volt are there to identify which input tap for wich high voltage. First
stud being the common.
Secondary side has three glass insulated standoffs. One marked CT which is
the center tap for either the 2500 volt or the 2000 volt, which ever one
chooses on the primary side. The standoffs are mounted in a triangle
configuration.
Height is approx 9 1/2"
Width is approx 11 1/2" across the feet.
Length is approx 13".
Tranny has HUGE cast iron endbells on each end that are painted black, looks
like factory paint.
I believe this is a plate tranny for the BC-610 but which series is my
question. Anyone out there in Halli land help me out?
Thank you,
Gary
