[Hallicrafters] sx 25

before i recapped my sx25  it didnt work on the 4th band i have heard that 
they didnt work well on the 4th band when new .but mine when i turn it to 4th 
band i notice the signal meter quits working  and i have no reception .it did 
this before i recapped it. works great on 1,2 and 3rd band and signal meter work 
normal.. i am a novice working on these but i have gone over schematic trying 
to trace problem but no luck yet . would anyone have any info on where to 
look for problem i do have a sx25 someone gave me that is a great parts rig with 
a good chassis. or if they encountered this problem before . all i want to do 
is keep my BA,s playing  as long as i can
