[Hallicrafters] SX-100 What's going on?

Try loosening and then retightening every screw that
goes through the chassis.  Also loosen and retighten
every nut on both sides of the chassis.  All of the
ground connections in the receiver are made through
these screws (including tube socket hold down and
terminal strips).  This often "cures" all sorts of
intermittent "ills".
