[Hallicrafters] SR-400 Power Supply

  Is anyone running a SR-400 and experiencing the bleeder resistors running
extremely hot. I am repairing one for a fellow ham and when I received it
one of the bleeders was open and both caps were shot. I replaced the bleeder
(15k ohm at 10 watt) and I think I know why the first one failed because
during receive they run very hot. I have since changed them to 15k ohm at 25
watt and they run somewhat cooler but after a while the power supply chassis
tends to get very warm. Is this a common problem with this rig ?
