If the meter you mention is reading final plate current and pegs just
before the fuse blows then my guess is ...
Your final is becoming unstable after it gets warmed up and breaking
into self oscillation. .... or
If your final is running with a fixed negative bias supply for the
grid then perhaps the grid bias supply is failing in some way .... or
If your final depends on drive to provide proper class C bias then
perhaps your driver is failing while the final is key down.
Too much guessing for me to do so you have to tell us more about the
operating conditions.
