[Hallicrafters] SX-96

I'm currently bringing an SX-96 (Mark 1A) back to life. Cosmetically, it
is in nice shape except for both dial glasses. These are rectangular
glass with a semicircle blacked out on the back side with what appears
to be black paint. Also, the freq. lines and band labels (both in red)
appear to be painted on. Whatever the material is, it is flaking off and
is bad enough it can't be just "touched up". In some areas around the
edges where it hasn't flaked off yet, it is delaminated from the glass
and ready to go. Replacement dial glass is not listed for the SX-96 at
N0ALO's site. Any suggestions/ideas? The main tuning knobs (2) are
non-originals that look like large Johnson spinners but are black, not
maroon. Anybody have originals they would be willing to sell/trade?
