[Hallicrafters] SX101 Drift Problem

Is the heating element (sometimes called a "damp
chaser") intact? This heats the oscillator section
and maintains a more constant temperature to assist
the stability. The "damp chaser" is wired directly
across the AC line cord and remains "on" even when the
power switch is turned off. If you disconnect the
power by unplugging the receiver, turning off a power
strip, etc., then this is disabled and the receiver
can take a considerable amount of time before
stabilizing.

Before being recapped it did drift but as bad as now,
you almost have to keep your hand on the tuning knob.
