[Hallicrafters] SX101 Drift Problem

I have a nice SX101 that I have recently recapped. It plays well on the low
bands with decreasing sensitivity on 20 meters and above. I am sure that an
alignment is in order but before doing that I would find the cause of its
excessive drift. Before being recapped it did drift but as bad as now, you
almost have to keep your hand on the tuning knob. With the exception of the
low voltage readings, the voltage measurement are near dead on. Low
voltages (2 volts or less) read consistently high, from 50 to 100% high. I
am not very technically astute, but I am trying to follow the manual and
just find myself at a dead end. If anyone has any thoughts on this I would
appreciate hearing from you. By the way all tubes have been checked on
Hickok 6000 and all weak/bad tubes replaced. Thanks for taking time to read
this.
