[Hallicrafters] SX-117 vs SX-115

IIRC, the SX-115 has mechanical PBT like the 75A4. Have never owned one so
this is from memory of conversation with radio fanatics.

The SX-117 has a preselector with tracking post mix filter like the 75A4
except the preselector knob controls the post mix filter. It has a pretty
good first mix but the 6DJ8 or more complicated 7360 is better. The
biggest improvement for SSB is 7460 product detector and for CW, the
addition of a peaking Q multiplier. What you end up with is something that
sounds a lot like a Drake 2-B to the ear but has better image rejection,
better filters, better audio quality, and a nicer freq readout. I liek it
better than my 75A4 except that the freq readout is not as good.
