BPL filter will not go on our equipment but on the BPL system to stop
the noise like signal from transmitting in the offending Ham band. A
system in AZ that is being built will have filters on all Ham
frequencies so do not expect a problem here unless you like to listen to
the Shortwave broadcast station. I truly believe the filters are only
covering up the problem and that is a BPL system will radiate period and
the only way to stop it it is to pull the plug. There is no way BPL
can service if every frequency is blocked with a filter and I am not
even sure how much of the band can be blocked (not transmitted before
BPL doesn't work} But for sure if BPL comes to your neighborhood make
sure the local system installs all the Ham band filters and the
Shortwave frequencies that are of interest to you or forget about ever
using or listening to them in the future.
