But aren't we all going to be killed by the Internet and digital phones
anyway (he asked provocatively)?
Most of us baby booming hams (and CBers, etc.) will have "gone QRT" well
within 30 years. Many of us (especially those of us old farts who operate
vintage gear) hang onto amateur radio as a nostalgic remnant of our past --
still enjoying the largely anachronistic mystique and romance of wireless
communication.
Are we the last of a dying breed? I'm curious to know what y'all think.
