[Hallicrafters] SX101 Assistance Needed

Hi,

I have a nice SX101 I have been renovating.  At this point I have replaced a
few tubes and all of the paper caps.  It is working, better on the low bands
with the sensitivity decreasing as the frequency increases.  I plan to do a
complete alignment as indicated in the manual, something I have not
attempted on any radio much less a 101.  If anyone has any suggestions or
hints on making this a smooth process for a newbie I will greatly appreciate
your assistance.  I have a good vtvm and have borrowed a good signal
generator that will go down to 10kc., so I have the basic equipment.
Knowledge and skill are in short supply here.  Looking to hear from the
voice/s of experience.
