[Hallicrafters] What is the difference between the SX-99 and SX-100

The difference is dramatic; the SX-100 is vastly superior to the SX-99.  The SX-100 is great on SSB; much more stable, more selective, and a higher quality receiver all around.  The SX-99 is basically a pretty S-40B.  73.

	I am a new member of this reflector and have a question. If you had
to choose between the SX-99 and SX-100 which one would you purchase and why.
This will be my first Hallicrafter. 
Also, what should I expect to pay for one in good to mint condition?
