You can usually replace the capacitors in the
selectivity section as well.  The originals were not
"specially chosen" and new ones won't make any
noticeable difference.

Also, slightly loosen and then re-tighten ALL of the
screws, machine screws, nuts, etc., that hold anything
to the chassis.  All of the grounds are made through
these (especially tube sockets and terminal strips). 
After a number of years these come loose, build up
corrosion, and such, which hampers the grounding
function of the fastener.  There are many problems
that are eliminated by doing this.  Also, check the
chassis mount on any "can" type electrolytic.  These
often come loose over the years.
