[Hallicrafters] sx 100 progress

hi everyone, since last  week i have made some progress. i have replaced filter caps, and 6sc7 tube. tightendcleaned tube sockets, and tightened all ground connections and screws , nuts and bolts. (what a difference that made)  she is working again. no more poping or motorboating. second band (4.6-13) works ok, still weak i think, first band  very weak, third band very weak, and fourth band works with strongest signals, and only when calibration switch is on.???.  i will check all resistors next and replace as  needed. and then hopefully, an alignment.  thanks again...jerry watkins  n4tbu.
