Bob,

I am forwarding my response to the list on purpose -

There were no flames intended or implied or applied. My reply to your sarcastic
remark was not for the purpose of upsetting you, but reminding you there were
options available if one wished to mail order. Lloyd Godsey for one, and several
other individuals and commercial venders. Even the quality of today's high end
headphones are poor from what I 'saw' and tried at Christmas at Radio Shack from
Kaas and other 'respected' names. In a word, 'cheap!' Poor quality
construction, above average audio, but nothing like one used to get from these
brand names and they were not cheap. I had difficulty telling a pair for $30
from a pair for 100. Being blind I have a pretty good ear and the expensive
pairs left a lot to be desired as far as I was concerned. If you took offense at
my comments, then you read more into them than I meant. So quelch that flame you
lit under your rump before you sprain something. At our age one has to be
careful not to short his circuits out! Sorry if I overheated your wiring, now
chill Robert and go buy a pair of Lloyd
's cheap headphones. Did I say cheap? I meant inexpensive. (snicker) Seriously,
they are very nice, especially for the price.
