N0ALO is as good as it gets! Lynn is a master at this kind of work and if there
is anyone better, I have never heard tell of them! He is honest, puts his best
efforts and pride into his work and stands behind it. He is one person and busy
beyond belief. You may have to wait, but it is worth the wait! I think anyone
who has one of Lynn's panels, dials or whatever will back me up on this.
One beautiful example of his craftsmanship is on the HCI web site. (Am I clever
at getting a plug in or what? I did not spend thirty years on stage and learn
nothing!) Check out the Minerva Tropic Master WW2 morale receiver images. Lynn
did the paint work on the cabinet, including the silk screening of the "MINERVA
TROPIC MASTER" you see. This is a wrinkle finish, by the way. In the process of
doing this cabinet for me, Lynn discovered the original paint mixture, which was
previously unknown. They were all a wrinkle gray, but Lynn found some blue mixed
in. Hence, the cabinet I have is very likely the only one in existence today
with the correct finish on it. Even though the web site images are low
resolution, people do not want to wait for high resolution to load, the quality
of his work is still very obvious.

Hi Joe,
Lynn Brock N0ALO has just what you are looking for and he does fantastic
work!
I have used his dials on my SX-101, SX-101A and SX-100 and they really make
the radio's look new.

A friend has a -62 which has the dial scale letters cracked and peeling in
places. Would appreciate comments from those who have successfully restored
this dial.
Thanks, Joe k7mks
