Sorry about the numbering. Originally Hallicrafters called the amp the
HT-40 but sold it as the HT-31. This from a QST blurb on announcing the
HT-30, the SX-100 (as an improved SX-96), and the amp along with the console
incorporating all three. By the end of 1955 the amp showed as the HT-31.
The console was labeled the SR-500 but from all the research done by myself
and others its possible only a few were made and perhaps 3 or 4 sold. This
about a decade before the SR-500 transceiver.
