Hello All,
I have been using with some good success, Lysol-professional toilet bowl
cleaner.
Yea, go ahead and laugh, but it works right nice in cleaning the heavy filmed
on grime on these older boatanchors.
Now this is the heavy duty stuff that is a somewhat thick blue in color, and
it is caustic, so use caution.

I use it lightly with a toothbrush, and then wipe it clean with a terry cloth
towel, or a cotton swab.

Beware to use adequate ventilation, and possible eye protection.
I then usually polish the metal with a cotton satuated product similar to
never dull.
I then spray everything lightly with Pledge furniture polish wax, or a light
spray wax to remove any left over caustic cleaner. Seems to work good on the
uglier rigs.

I guess some people have too much time on their hands, not my case, but I
guess I was desperate at one time to try something on a horrible looking old
HT-37 lady.

73,
Rick/KB3EPJ
