[Hallicrafters] Grommets for tuning caps

I am cleaning up a straight and original but rather grimy SX-71, and would
like to remove the tuning caps to de-grime them - this raises a perennial
issue with boat anchors, ie wot the heck do you about those cracked and
perished gum rubber grommets that sit between the capacitor and the chassis.
I see AES sells something similar titled "gum rubber chassis mounting
washers..." for around a buck apiece, in various sizes. I think the SX-71
would use the 7/8" size.

Can any of you experienced halli folk comment on these?
