Thanks to all who answered the tuning question I had on the SX-111. On
another issue, I have noticed that I am receiving international shortwave
broadcasts on my SX-111 where they should not be specifically, the 20 meter
band.

I know these are images, and are most pronounced on the 20 meter band. I
thought this somewhat strange since the receiver is a dual conversion unit
and to my understanding, dual conversion exists to eliminate images.

My question is, since I have just performed an RF and IF alignment on this
radio, is it possible to foul up the alignment to enhance image signals or
to cause them by incorrect alignment? It still receives 20 meter signals
fine, but some of the shortwave images are quite strong and sound perfect.
Unfortunately, I have no previous history with this receiver to know if
these images are normal or not. Thanks for your help.
