De Henseler's book, as Charlie says, does contain a great deal of fascinating information about Bill Halligan and significant Hallicrafters gear. But one feature I have found particularly useful is the book's listings of tube lineups of popular Hallicrafters equipment.

The book has been out of print for several years. But I think I've seen notice that it is again available through the Antique Wireless Association, but in electronic form on CD. It is a most worthwhile addition to the library of any Hallicrafters fan.
