[Hallicrafters] Product Detector for SX-100/101 any recommendations ???

Seems like there was a construction article in Electric Radio to add a 
product detector to the older SX-101's. I don't remember which issue it 
was in and I can't get the Java search applet to work. I had considered 
this option to get an SX-101 for 160 meter SSB reception.

I guess this option would depend on how authentic you want to keep the 
radio and how comfortable you are with construction projects.

In my case I'm missing an important component. (I don't have an SX-101!)
