Neither the HE-71, 2 meter converter, nor the HE-56, 6 meter converter,
were that obscure. Lafayette sold thousands of them in the early 60's
(more 6 meter than 2 meter converters).Typical two tube design, on a
printed circuit board, and similar to the International FCV-2 and others
of the era. Sold for $29.95 each and designed to match the Lafayette
HE-10 and HE-30. At the tail end of their life cycle, we cleared them out
as a penny sale item when you bought the HE-30.
