I can't help you with the knob, but wanted to caution you about the phone
jack. It may be connected to the chassis which may be connected to one
side of the power line. It may tie the cabinet and chassis together which
should be insulated. In other words it may be a killer. Like some others,
I recommend a 3-wire cord for all appliances, including radios, that have
a metal cabinet. If you need advice on installing a 3-wire cord, just
ask. Good luck with your new radio.
