Dan,
The case on the CB Sonar you referenced looks identical to that of my Sonar
"Four Bander" 75-15m SSB transceiver. The case is a bit smaller than the SX
117/HT 44. But the general look is the same. I suspect Sonar found that
they could make more money in CB in the early 60's than in the ham market.
Case closed?
