Greetings Everyone,

I have recently purchased a SX-99 and R-46B that is going to need
some restoration.

So, I am looking for sources for the following items and I am hoping that
someone on the list here can help:

1) Paint for the cabinets of the SX-99 and R-46B. These cabinets appear to
be two different shads of gray with one being metallic (R-46B) and the other
being almost charcoal.

2) Decals for the SX-99 and R-46B. If no one has a source for the decals
then if someone could point me in the right direction of reference material
on how to make decals I could manufacture them myself.

3) Replacement S Meter or someone that does meter repair. The S-Meter meter
movement is not smooth. It seems to be stuck when you hold it in normal view
by moves freely when you hold the face towards the ground.

4) Speaker repair. The R-46B speaker appears to be original, but it has a
3/4 inch tear in the speaker material and I would like to repair it before
it grows in size.

5) Some one drilled a hole in the speaker cabinet and it will need to
repaired. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I could possibly repair
the hole. It is the size of a pea.

I was thinking that a little bit of Bondo that you repair cars with
might do the trick, what does everyone think.

Thanks,
Douglas Kearney N5LBJ
