I was not aware of a SX101 MKIII-A? I believe that they made a
SX101-MKIII and it was replaced by a SX101-A.
I have a SX101-MKIII in almost mint condition and I love it. It does have
160 Mtrs through 10 Mtrs. and a product detector. It also has a decent,
tunable, Notch Filter. I use it a lot to listen up and down the bands
while operating on another more modern transceiver. But, my most
favorite operating is using the SX101 MKIII on AM while transmitting on
my Johnson Ranger. Shades of my earlier days, back in the 60's.
