Your radio looks to be a TW-1000. Made between 1952 and 1956 (plus or
minus).  The world wide series included the TW500, 600, TW 1000a and TW2000.
Electrically the later two are the same as the 1000 with some differences in
antennas and cabinets. (slight).  Difficult to tell from the picture, but
cabinet apprears to be a TW-1000.  If antenna is a ferrite loop type mounted
in the chassis, it is a TW-1000a.  It should be worth between $75 and $100,
possibly more per condition, and the right collector.  I don't see them for
sale often.  Hope you find it a keeper.  Nice old tube type portable radio.

Possibly someone else has more info for you or may correct some of my stated
models or opinion.
