[Hallicrafters] (no subject)

Hello- I am wondering if you can help answer a couple questions for me.... I 
have a Hallicrafters S38 B receiver,and im wondering what it is worth if it 
is in excellent cosmetic condition, but when i plug it in it only makes a 
loud buzz noise- im not sure how to work it but no matter what i do it makes 
the same sound- no radio sounds or voices. Also, what do you think it would 
cost to repair it, and what would the value be when repaired? WHEW! Thanks-
