[Hallicrafters] SX-100 AVC question - Answer

There are two AVC schemes.

In the Mk1 model a delayed AGC is employed, through R46 and R47 a 4.5v reverse bias is applied to
pin 9 of the V7 so that the IF signal level must be above this to have any effect on the AVC.

In the Mk2 this was entirely done away with, it would be quite easy to reconstruct a delayed AGC
for a Mk2
